The Bulgarian heavyweight star won with a unanimous decision against Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutsky in front of about 6,000 spectators at the Sofia Arena Hall.
Tervel Pulev the younger of the two brothers won a victory as well in the boxing gala. Despite a heavy arcade over his left eye, the 41-year-old boxer won an eight-round fight against Cameroonian Rolly Lambert in the welterweight division.
