This year we witness the 69th edition of the emblematic Cycling Tour of Bulgaria. A competition with a rich tradition, which began in 1924. The tour boasts of gathering cyclists from over 40 countries even at its first edition.
Since the 1950s, the Tour of Bulgaria has established itself as a popular annual competition that continues to welcome many experienced athletes from around the world. The international prestige of the event is reflected in the diverse nationalities of the finalists in recent years. In 2021, the cup went to Germany, won by Immanuel Stark with a total time of 18 hours 45 minutes and 46 seconds.
This August, the TV1 Broadcast Company team starts its tour of the country to cover the prestigious event in Bulgaria and announce the finalist of the 69th edition of the competition. Such a live broadcast is happening for the second time in the 98-year history of Cycling Tours of Bulgaria, again thanks to TV1 Broadcast Company and our official partners from Circle, B1B BOX and Bulsatcom.
